    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a difficultly agglomerable powdery cement dispersant.
      SOLUTION: The powdery cement dispersant is produced by adding an inorganic substance to the following cement dispersant (component A), wet-grinding the mixture, and drying the wet-ground mixture to form a powder. The component A is a water-soluble vinyl copolymer comprising 40 to 85 mol% at least one member (component A1) selected from an olefinmonocarboxylic acid and a salt thereof, 15 to 60 mol% at least one member (component A2) selected from an alkoxypolyethylene glycol (meth)acrylate and a (meth)allylsulfonate, and 0 to 5 mol% at least one member (component A3) selected from an alkyl (meth)acrylate and a hydroxyalkyl (meth)acrylate (the total being 100 mol%) and having a number-average molecular weight of 2,000 to 50,000.
