CONSTITUTION: The suction pressure during cooling operation is estimated with a controller 151 based on formulas I Pe=α1×Te+α2 in the case of Te =T0, and III ΔP=α5×F where Pe stands for saturation pressure, Te for detected values of temperature sensors 113, 204 and 205, and their minimum values are adopted. ΔP stands for a pressure loss from the position of an adopted temperature sensor to the inlet of a compressor, F stands for a rotary speed of a compressor motor, and α1 to α6 stand for coefficients, and α5 varies with the mounting position of an adopted temperature sensor or a line of a gas pipeline 121. The suction pressure during heating operation is also estimated based on the formulas I, II and III, in this case, Te stands for a detected value of a temperature sensor 112, ΔP stands for a pressure loss from the position of the temperature sensor 112 to the inlet of the compressor. The rotary speed of the motor of the compressor is computed so that the estimated suction pressure may be within a set range, thereby a motor rotary speed controller 152 controls the compressor motor.

    • PURPOSE:To provide an oil separator which can obtain a separability over a wide range of process flow amount by providing a mechanism by which a stream inside a pipe is formed in a swirling stream and oil is separated from the swirling stream by centrifugal force, and the separated oil is accumulated in a double-piped oil accumulator arranged outside through a hole in an inernal wall and then returned to a compressor. CONSTITUTION:Refrigerant gas (a) discharged from a compressor of a refrigerator proceeds in a direction indicated by an arrow (a) and forms swirling stream at a screwing plate 4 along an internal wall of a pipe 1. Oil of a great specific garavity flows along the internar wall of the pipe 1 by centrifugal force which is generated at this time and drops down into an oil accumulator 2 through an oil outlet hole 5 which is formed in the internal wall of the pipe 1. The oil dropping in the oil accumulator 2 is returned to the compressor through an oil return pipe 3. In this instance, as the centrifugal force can be easily changed by changing a screw pitch of the screwing plate 4, oil separating performance can be changed. The oil separating performance can also be changed by changing the length of the screwing plate 4. Thus a separating structure is very simple. In addition, as the oil separation is carried out inside the pipe, there is no need of preparing additionally a place for an exclusive use for the oil separation, and therefore cost can be unexpensive.

During operation, only the number of rotation of the blower 4 is regularly increased by the control device 10 and an amount of air is increased to cause indoor air to be supplied again into the room through the filter 5. With such an arrangement, cleaning characteristic against the polluted indoor air can be forcedly carried out.

CONSTITUTION:An air conditioner is comprised of a compressor 6, a non-utilized side heat exchanger 10, an outdoor device 5 including an outdoor device expansion valve 8, and an indoor device 1 including a utilization side heat exchanger 7, an indoor device expansion valve 9 and a blower 11, wherein the outdoor device 5 and the indoor device 1 are connected by refrigerant pipes 13, 14. In this case a carbon dioxide concentration sensor 2 (or fluorocarbon or toxic gas sensor or the like) is disposed at the air suction side of the indoor device 1 or within an indoor area. When a concentration higher than a specified value is detected, a surrounding air intake damper 11. is opened with a signal from a control device 4 so as to perform a ventilation work. Concurrently, as the blowing temperature sensor 3 detects a temperature differing from a predetermined blowing temperature, the control device 4 controls the capability of the compressor 6, and a degree of opening of each of the outdoor expansion valve 8 and an indoor device expansion valve 9 so as to keep the blowing temperature at its set value.

With such an arrangement, the capacity control is carried out with the sliding valve while the capacity of the compressor is being confirmed, so that a stepless capacity control can be carried out and a following accuracy of the capacity of the compressor for a variation of load of the indoor devices 2 is improved.

CONSTITUTION:A multi-chamber type air conditioning device constitutes a heat pump type refrigeration cycle where a single outdoor unit, which is main equipment, is connected with a compressor equipped with four indoor units and a hydraulic pressure-driven refrigerant capacity control valve 7 by way of piping. The control system is provided with a detection device 16 which detects that the operation number of the indoor units is 1, and a control device 17 which halts the operation of the compressor 1 temporarily and restarts its operation based on this detected signal. When the operation number of signal units is 1, it is possible to eliminate a temporarily excess in the capacity of the compressor produced by a follow-up lag of capacity control by starting the compressor with the minimum capacity after a specified time has lapsed since its suspension and obtain the operation effect that relaxes drastic pressure fluctuations in the system and enables the operation of a single indoor unit.
