    • PURPOSE: To perform a comfortable air conditioning operation and improve a reliability in operation by a method wherein the number of rotation of a total heat exchanger is changed and an indoor supply air temperature is controlled. CONSTITUTION: A total heat exchanging rotor 1 is operated such that a rotor driving motor 2 is driven and rotated under an instruction from a control base board 5. The control base board 5 is made such that an outdoor temperature and an indoor temperature can be acknowledged. Since a temperature of air blown from the indoor air feeding port is determined in its one kind of value in response to an indoor air temperature, an outdoor air temperature and a total heat exchanging efficiency of the total heat exchanging rotor 1, a rotation of the total heat exchanging rotor 1 is controlled to cause a temperature exchanging efficiency to be varied and a supply temperature of air from the indoor air supplying port can be controlled. An indoor air temperature, an outdoor air temperature and a temperature exchanging efficiency for every number of rotation of the total heat exchanging rotor 1 are inputted to the control base board 5 in advance, thereby it is possible to blow air at a temperature set by a temperature setting remote controller 13 from the indoor air feeding port.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the reliability while incorporating the comfortableness and economy by providing a thermistor for detecting outdoor and indoor air temperatures and a driving motor for operating or stopping entire heat exchanging rotors. SOLUTION: An entire heat exchange rotors 1 is rotated by driving it by a rotor driving motor 2 according to the command from a control case 5. A compressor 13 for constituting a refrigerating cycle together with a direct expansion coil 12 is also operated or stopped according to a command from the case 5. The case 5 can recognizes the outdoor and indoor air temperatures by outdoor and indoor temperature thermistors 3, 4. Since the air temperature introduced to the coil 12 is decided by the indoor circulating temperature, outdoor suction temperature and the temperature exchange efficiency of the rotor 1, and hence it can be calculated by the case 5. Accordingly, it can judge from the outdoor and indoor air temperatures whether the heating or cooling of the coil 12 by the operation of the compressor 13 is needed or not or whether the heat recovery of the rotor 1 is needed or not to obtain the comfortable indoor diffusing air temperature.

    • PURPOSE: To enable an efficient draining operation to be carried out by a method wherein dew is prevented from being produced from a heat exchanger when a drain pan is full of water and water in the drain pan is discharged for a specified period of time after the level of the water in the drain pan returns to its normal water level. CONSTITUTION: When a compressor 1 is turned on, a drain pump 11 is also turned on. When a float switch 10 is operated, the compressor 1 is turned off. Since the float switch 10 returns to its original state after its continuous operation of 119 seconds or so and the drain pump 11 has a freezing temperature of 0 deg.C when the compressor 1 is turned off, it is turned off after 200 seconds after the float switch returns to its original position. In this way, when the float switch 10 for use in detecting filled full water in the drain pan 9 is operated, if the compressor 1 is still being turned off, the compressor 1 is prevented from being turned off to generate fog from a heat exchanger 6. Then, the drain pump 11 is turned on to perform a drain discharging. In the case that frosting occurs also at 200 seconds after returning to the original state of the float switch 10, the drain pump 11 is not turned off to continue the drain discharging by the time in which the frosting is completely melted.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the operating range of a heating operation when an HFC-type refrigerant is used by securing abilities while suppressing high pressure from rising during the heating operation, especially during an intermediate period when either outdoor temperature or indoor temperature is high. SOLUTION: In the air conditioner, a compressor 3, a four-way valve 13, an outdoor heat exchanger 4, an outdoor expansion valve 9 and a receiver 18 are sequentially connected to one another by piping, and an outdoor unit 1 having an outdoor fan 8 and an indoor unit 2 having an indoor heat exchanger 12, an indoor expansion valve 17 and an indoor fan 16 are connected to each other by indoor-to-outdoor connection gas piping 10 and indoor-to-outdoor connection liquid piping 11 to constitute a refrigerating cycle. The air conditioner has a sensor 6 for detecting high-pressure side pressure within the refrigerating cycle and a bypass valve 5 provided in the piping bypassing from the discharge side piping of the compressor 3 to a space between the outdoor heat exchanger 4 and the outdoor expansion valve 9. When the high-pressure side pressure is equal to or greater than a set value during the heating operation, the bypass valve 5 opens. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
