    • An intake port (2) is formed in a casing (1), a plurality of discharge ports (3) are formed in a side face of the casing (1) different from this intake port (2), or are arranged continuously along the entire circumferential surface of the side face of the casing 1. A series of vanes (5) of a centrifugal type blower (4) for feeding air flowing in from the intake port 2 to the discharge ports (3) are arranged around the intake port (2) within the casing (1) and a photocatalyst carrier (6) that carries photocatalyst is arranged at the outer periphery of the series of vanes (5) of this centrifugal type blower (4). By thus providing a plurality of discharge ports (3) or providing discharge ports along the entire circumferential surface of the side face of the casing (1), the area of the flow path to the discharge ports (3) is increased compared with the conventional case, in which only a single discharge port is provided, and a higher decomposition treatment capability in respect of impurities in the air is displayed than in the conventional case.

    • A plasma CVD device includes a reaction chamber, a remote plasma discharge chamber that is provided remotely from the reaction chamber, and piping that links the reaction chamber and the remote plasma discharge chamber. The remote plasma discharge chamber activates cleaning gas by plasma discharge energy, and the activated cleaning gas is introduced into the inside of the reaction chamber through the piping and changes solid substances that adhere to the inside of the reaction chamber in consequence of film formation, to gaseous substances, thereby cleaning the inside of the reaction chamber. The device is characterized by at least one of the following: (a) the remote plasma discharge chamber generates active species using radio frequency oscillating output energy of a preselected frequency; (b) the piping is made of materials that are not corroded by the active species; or (c) the piping is provided with a through-flow type valve.

    • There is provided an antenna system applicable to an in-vehicle satellite tracking antenna system. A feed probe (1) is inserted into a ground plate (4) from a lower surface of the ground plate (4) toward an upper surface to protrude from the upper surface. A semicylindrical sub-reflector (2) forming a primary radiator together with the feed probe (1) is arranged on the upper surface of the ground plate (4) in the vicinity of the feed probe (1), and a main reflector (3) is arranged on the ground plate (4) such that mirror surfaces of the reflectors face to each other across the feed probe (1). The main reflector (3) is parabolic in at least one axis, and has a predetermined focal point or a predetermined focal line. The main reflector (3) is standing on the ground plate (4) such that the feed probe (1) is positioned on the focal point or the focal line, which is mounted on the ground plate (4) at a predetermined installing angle &thgr; so that an elevation angle of the antenna is directed in a direction that receives radio waves or a direction that radiates radio waves. Tracking of the antenna system with respect to an azimuth is carried out by turning the ground plate (4) in a fashion being out of contact with the feed probe (1). By virtue of the above construction, the antenna system can be downsized or given a low profile.
