CONSTITUTION:In a hot melt transfer ink film 1 wherein a hot melt transfer ink layer 1b is provided to a base film 1a, recessed parts 1C with depth of 1mum or more, protruding parts 1d with height of 1mum or more or reticulated grooves 1e with depth of 1mum or more are continuously formed to the surface of the base film 1a being in contact with the hot-melt transfer ink layer 1b. At the time of thermal transfer recording, the hot-melt ink 1b in the hot-melt transfer ink film 1 is fused to transfer recording paper 4 by the heat generated from the heating resistor element group 2 provided to a thermal transfer recording apparatus and, thereafter, the hot melt ink film 1 and the transfer recording paper 4 are separated by the rotation of a feed roller 5 to transfer the hot-melt ink 1b to the transfer recording paper 4. At this time, since the transferred hot-melt ink 1b is released at the interface with the base film 1a and the outermost surface is subjected to satin-like finish, light is irregularily reflected to show a lusterless state.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent faulty recording accompanying vibration by a method wherein the shaft of a platen roller is pushed at all times against the side wall of a first U- groove, guiding the supporting body of a heat sensitive recording head to the direction of the platen roller, into the substantially orthogonal direction to the side wall. CONSTITUTION:A heat sensitive recording head supporting body 5 is provided to retain a relative positional relation between a heat sensitive recording head 2 and a platen roller 4 while respective heat sensitive heads 5 are provided with the first U-groove or U-grooves 5b for preventing the movement of a transfer direction in order to prevent positional deviation between the heat sensitive recording head 2 and the platen roller 4. The rim of the side wall of the U-groove 5b for preventing the movement of the transfer direction is provided with a long hole along the side wall of the delivery side of the heat sensitive recording paper 3 while a shaft external force energizing means or an external force energizing bearing supporting unit 5c, which is provided with an elastic property, is provided between the long hole and the side wall. The bearing 7 of the platen roller 4 is pushed against the inlet side of the heat sensitive recording paper 3 in the U-groove 5b for preventing movement whereby the vibration of the recording head can be prevented.

CONSTITUTION:The read element 2 is formed so as not to directly receive the light of the light source 14 with a light shielding film 102a, and performs the photoelectric conversion of the reflected light illuminating the original 11 with the light source 14. Meanwhile, the reference element 1 is not provided with the light shielding film 102a, and performs the photoelectric conversion of the direct light of the light source 14. Also, at this time, the light shield film 108 is formed on the reference element 1, therefore, no reflected light from the original 11 is made incident. The photoelectric conversion output of the read element 2 is proportionated to the illuminance of the original 11 and reflectance. Also, the photoelectric conversion output of the reference element 1 is proportionated to the radiant intensity of the light source 14. Therefore, the photoelectric conversion output of the read element 2 is corrected by using the photoelectric conversion output of the reference element, and output not depending on the illuminance nonuniformity of the original i.e., the nonuniformity of the radiant intensity of the light source and depending on the reflectance can be taken out.

The upper surface of the heat sink 3 of a part on which the driving circuit board 2 is fixedly put is formed by one stage lower than a part on which the heating board 1 is fixedly put so that a position of an output terminal provided on an upper surface of the driving IC 4 and an upper surface of the heating board 1 become on almost the same plane. Then, for assembly of the thermal head, after first bonding the heating board 1 and the driving circuit board 2 simultaneously onto the heat sink 3, the driving IC 4 is mounted on the driving circuit board 2 and then, bonding wires 7, 8, 9 are bonded. Thereafter, a cover 11 is installed.

    • PURPOSE:To eliminate the irregularity of density due to the irregularity of a resistance value and to enhance printing quality by providing a means for measuring the resistance value of a resistor in lowering the resistance value of the resistor by applying voltage to said resistor to change an applying voltage value so as to bring the change quantity of the resistance value to a predetermined or definite value. CONSTITUTION:In such a case that the resistance value of a resistor is made larger than an objective resistance value and lowered by applying voltage to said resistor to be allowed to approach the objective resistance value, the resistance value is measured and an applying voltage value is changed so that the change quantity of the resistance value becomes a predetermined or definite value. By this method, the resistance value can be allowed to approach the objective resistance value without exceeding said objective resistance value. In this case, in order to allow the resistance value to approach the objective resistance value as near as possible, the applying voltage value is changed so that the change quantity of the resistance value becomes a small value. When the change quantity of the resistance value is set to a small value from the beginning in lowering the resistance value, a long time is required until the resistance value approaches the objective one and, therefore, a change rate is largely set at the beginning and pref. set to a small level when it is judged that the resistance value is approaching the objective one.

    • PURPOSE:To make it possible to increase the thermal conductivity of a protective film material, by mixing metallic particles or particles of metal oxides having good thermal conductivity into the protective film by a specific rate. CONSTITUTION:A glaze layer 4, an electrode 3, a resistor 2 and a protective film 1 are laminated one after another in this order onto an alumina substrate 5, thereby to obtain a thick-film-type heat sensitive recording head. A thermal energy produced by the application of voltage to the resistor reaches an ink paper through the protective film, so that the molten ink or sublimed ink is transferred onto a transfer paper. When metal particles or particles of metal oxides having good thermal conductivity are mixed in a glass material which is material for the protective film of the head, the thermal conductivity can be enhanced depending on the mixing amount. However, if the surface of the protective film has poor smoothness, the stick slips or the ink paper are adhered onto the head, resulting in the deterioration of the image quality. Thereafter, the mixing amount of the metallic particles or particles of metal oxides are set to be less than 10weight%.
