    • The invention relates to an automatic analysis device in which a part-replacement assessment region assesses whether or not the present time has reached a replacement datum of a component of the automatic analysis device. As soon as it results that the present time has reached this replacement datum, the part-replacement assessment region outputs a command for displaying a warning which specifies the replacement of a component on a cathode-ray tube. A K-factor updating region assesses whether the component to be replaced influences the K factor and whether the K factor should be updated. If the K factor should be updated, a warning is displayed on the cathode-ray tube which warning indicates the updating of the K factor. This warning is displayed until the K factor is updated. Furthermore, various types of standard protocols are carried out automatically. If a start button of an input device is actuated, an image display illuminates on the cathode-ray tube with a selection of standard protocols. If an operator inputs a number which corresponds to one of the protocols, a selected image display appears, showing the corresponding standard protocol. If the operator inputs information which specifies a reaction-inducing substance to be evaluated, an analysis reagent number, a dilution-sequence number and the number of measurements, the measurement is started.

    • A steam governing valve includes a valve body constituting a main valve together with a main valve seat formed on a casing body and having a smaller valve seat inside thereof, a valve rod movable in the valve body in an axial direction of the valve and constituting a smaller valve together with the smaller valve seat, a sleeve arranged in the casing body and guiding the valve body in an axial direction, and a pressure room defined by the casing body, the valve body and the sleeve, the pressure room being communicated with an entrance room through the valve body, and the main valve being opened by lifting the valve rod beyond the full open position of the smaller valve. The valve body is formed on the cylindrical outer surface thereof with a plurality of axially extending grooves arranged at equal intervals in a circumferential direction. The sleeve is formed with a plurality of stream passages at positions opposite to the axially extending grooves and the pressure room is communicated with said entrance room through the stream passages and the axially extending grooves when the valve body is lifted beyond a predetermined valve opening degree.
