摘要： PURPOSE: To easily adjust a Dove prism by operating the position of an arm provided in the radial direction of a Dove prism holder and rotating the Dove prism holder. CONSTITUTION: The cylindrical Dove prism holder 2 holding the Dove prism 1 is attached to the prism 1. The holder 2 is assembled in a base 3 where a hole having the same diameter as that of the holder 2 is bored and can rotate centering around the shaft of the cylinder. The arm 4 is fixed in the radial direction of the holder 2. The arm 4 is made longer than the radius of the holder 2. Thus, the rotating and moving amount of the holder 2 with respect to the moving amount of the end of the arm 4 is made small. Therefore, the adjustment of the prism in a direction orthogonal to a scanning direction is facilitated and adjusting time is shortened.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent a memory phenomenon and a decrease in electrostatic charging potential and to improve the cleaning efficiency of residual toner by adjusting the impressed frequency and impressed voltage of a destaticizer and suppressing the minus electrostatic charging quantity of a photosensitive body after it passes through the destaticizer. CONSTITUTION:A surface electrometer 17 is set right behind the AC corona destaticizer, the impressed frequency, impressed voltage, and waveform of the AC corona destaticizer 14 are varied by using a signal generator 16 and an amplifier 15, and the surface potential of the photosensitive drum 1 after it passes through the AC corona destaticizer 14 is measured by the surface electrometer 17. In this case, it become evident that a certain impressed voltage has an impressed frequency which eliminates the minus electrostatic charging quantity of the photosensitive drum 1 after it passes through the AC corona destaticizer 14, so the impressed voltage and impressed frequency to the AC corona destaticizer 14 are adjusted to suppress the minus electrostatic charging quantity of the photosensitive drum 1. Consequently, the memory phenomenon and decrease in electrostatic charging potential are prevented, the minus charge barrier of the photosensitive body is reduced, and the cleaning efficiency of residual toner can be increased.

The magnets 8-10 of the reverse direction developing rolls 5-7 have a pair or two pairs of adjacent magnetic poles of same-polarity and the same-polarity part arranged on parts where the same direction developing rolls 5 and 6 and 7 are arranged closest to each other, respectively. On the hand, in the magnet 15 of the same direction developing roll 14, all adjacent magnetic poles are composed of different poles. Further, a carrying member capable of rotating 4 such as the developing roll is provided on the most downstream side and the developer carrying path shown by the figure can be obtained.
