    • Disclosed is a pH-sensitive block copolymer obtained by copolymerization of: (a) a polyethylene glycol compound (A); and (b) at least one poly(amino acid) compound selected from the group consisting of a poly(β-amino ester) and poly(amido amine) or a copolymer thereof (B). A method for preparing the same block copolymer, and a polymer micelle type drug composition comprising the pH-sensitive block copolymer and a physiologically active substance that can be encapsulated with the block copolymer are also disclosed. The pH-sensitive block copolymer is obtained by polymerization of a hydrophilic polyethylene glycol compound with a pH-sensitive biodegradable poly(amino acid) compound. Therefore, the pH-sensitive block copolymer can form a micelle structure due to its amphiphilicity and ionization characteristics depending on pH variations, and thus can be used as drug carrier for target-directed drug delivery depending on pH variations in the body.

    • An apparatus and method for allocating a bandwidth for up-stream data transmission to a plurality of Optical Network Units (ONUs) in an Ethernet Passive Optical Access Network (EPON) in which the ONUs are connected to a single Optical Line Terminal (OLT) are disclosed. The bandwidth allocation method for guaranteeing a Quality of Service (QoS) in the EPON includes the steps of: a) classifying up-stream data to be transmitted from a plurality of Optical Network Units (ONUs) of the EPON to an Optical Line Terminal (OLT) into a plurality of classes according to predetermined data priority information, and requesting bandwidths required for individual classes from the OLT; b) allowing the OLT to perform a bandwidth distribution process according to bandwidth requirement quantities of individual classes using weights pre-assigned to individual classes; and c) allowing the OLT to distribute a residual bandwidth acquired after the bandwidth distribution process is performed from among an available total up-stream bandwidth to the ONUs.

    • The present invention relates to an oil soft gel sheet for application to the skin, which can be suitably used to allow an active ingredient to be absorbed into the skin or the human body through the skin. The oil soft gel sheet is in the form of a monolayer structure in view of cost versus effect and simple handling, has the release ability of a relatively large amount of oil components (including an active ingredient and its carrier), a suitable degree of skin adhesion, good stability with time, effect persistence after removal, and little skin stickiness after removal. The oil soft gel sheet is formed of a base comprising ethyl cellulose and one or two or more plasticizers, in which the weight ratio of ethyl cellulose to the plasticizers is 1-30:99-70. The plasticizer is preferably castor oil, and the base contains a component effective for the skin or human body, and may, if necessary, contain at least one selected from polyhydric alcohol, a surfactant and a silicon derivative.
