    • In an image processing computer system for a photogrammetric analytical measurement in which a survey map is formed by successively connecting survey map sections to each other, each survey map section is produced based on a set of pictures photographed for the measurement. Plural frames of image data are read from a memory in a predetermined order. A monitor displays a scene including a first display area and a second display area. Respective plural pictures are displayed on first display area based on the plural frames of image data read from the memory. A displayed picture can be optionally transferred from the first display area to the second display area. The transferred picture can be optionally returned to the first display area. The pictures displayed on the first display area are rearranged by the transfer of pictures between the first and second display areas such that pictures forming each set for producing a survey map section are capable of being visually recognized.

Another standard scale has a light-guide plate member which has three light-emitting spots for defining reference points. Yet another standard scale has a frame member, and reference-point-forming elements, for defining reference points, arranged on the frame to define a reference plane. A marker used in a photogrammetric measurement system for defining a standard scale has a light-guide plate having a light emitting spot for defining a reference point. Another marker has a polygonal-pyramidal-shaped optical assembly formed from light-guide plates, including a core layer containing fluorescent substances, such that an apex of the optical assembly is defined by an emission of fluorescent radiation therefrom.

    • In an image processing computer system for a photogrammetric measurement in which a survey map is produced based on plural pictures under a three-dimensional coordinate system, a picture-arranging system rearranges the pictures to select plural pairs of pictures from among the pictures such that each pair of pictures is fixed to produce a survey map section, and a picture-connecting system successively connects the plural pair pictures to each other. A monitor displays a scene including first and second display areas. The pairs of pictures are selectively displayed on the first display area, and a pair of object points corresponding to each other on two pictures in each pair are indicated. The coordinates of an object point represented by the pair of indicated object points are calculated, and the calculated coordinates on a plane defined by the coordinate system. The projected coordinates is displayed as a point representing said object point concerned on the second display area.

    • A photogrammetric image processing apparatus and method defining a plurality of pairs of images including a common target as belonging to the same groups (pairs), providing an image display area and drawing area on the screen of the display device, calculating valid mapping ranges for the pairs 1 to 4, and displaying the valid mapping ranges on the drawing area. When an arbitrary point is designated using a cursor in the drawing area, paired images corresponding to one of the valid mapping ranges containing the designated point are displayed in the image display area. Physical points corresponding to the paired images are designated, so that the three-dimensional coordinates of physical points are calculated, and a survey map is generated based on the three-dimensional coordinates.

    • An optical member inspection apparatus includes an inspection optical system having a light source, and a diffusing means for diffusing the light emitted from the light source. The diffusing means has a central portion and a peripheral portion. The diffusion transmittance of the peripheral portion is higher than the diffusion transmittance of the central portion. The inspection optical system is also provided with an image pick-up means to pick-up an image of the optical member to be inspected, and is positioned so as, to receive that light emitted from the light source and transmitted through the diffusing means and the optical member. A judging means is also provided, for judging whether or not the optical member has a defect, in accordance with image signals output from the image pick-up means.
