    • The present invention is directed to a light-transmitting color film comprising oxides which have high chemical resistance and excellent light-absorption effect, making them available in a wide color range; a method for producing the same; and a coating solution used for forming the color film. In the light-transmitting color film comprising an oxide of an element which serves as a network former and oxides of transition metal elements serving as coloring components, the element serving as a network former is at least one selected from Si, Al, and B, and the transition metal elements comprise Cu, Mn, and Ni; and the two types of oxides form a complex oxide. Moreover, a method for producing the light-transmitting color film comprises: coating on the substrate a coating solution for forming the color film which contains at least one alkoxide of elements selected from Si, Al, and B which serve as network formers, and as coloring components, transition metal salts comprising at least Cu, Mn, and Ni, and at least one organic compound having a functional group which can coordinate the transition metals; and thereafter firing the substrate.

    • A colored film-coated ultraviolet/infrared absorbent glass plate is formed of base glass, colorants, and a colored film. The base glass includes 65 to 80 wt. % SiO2; 0 to 5 wt. % Al2O3; 0 to 10 wt. % MgO; 5 to 15 wt. % CaO; 10 to 18 wt. % Na2O; 0 to 5 wt. % K2O; 5 to 15 wt. % total amount of MgO and CaO; 10 to 20 wt. % total amount of Na2O and K2O; 0.05 to 0.3 wt. % of SO3; and 0 to 5 wt. % B2O3. The colorants includes 0.35 to 0.55 wt. % total iron oxide (T-Fe2O3) expressed as Fe2O3; 0.08 to 0.15 wt. % FeO; 0.8 to 1.5 wt. % CeO2; and 0 to 0.5 wt. % TiO2. FeO expressed as Fe2O3 is equal to or more than 20 wt. % and less than 27 wt. % of T-Fe2O3. The colored film has a red color shade with a thickness between 30 nm and 300 nm and includes fine particles of gold and silicon oxide of more than 50 wt. % and equal to or less than 95 wt. %. The colored film is applied onto a surface of the ultraviolet/infrared absorbent glass plate.

    • Anti-reflection colored film-coated glass products prepared by forming on a transparent glass substrate with a refractive index of 1.47-1.53, a high refractive index film with a refractive index of 1.59-2.30 and a film thickness of 80-140 nm and containing 0-85% silicon oxides, 10-95% titanium oxides and 5-30% fine gold particles in terms of weight percentage, and by forming on the high refractive index film, a low refractive index film with a refractive index which is a value in the range of 1.35-1.58 and at least 0.20 smaller than the refractive index of the high refractive index film, having a film thickness of 70-99 nm and containing 90-100% silicon oxides in terms of weight percentage. These anti-reflection colored film-coated glass products of the invention have excellent anti-reflection performance for visible light and allow freedom in control of the color tones of transmitted light, and thus provide anti-reflection colored film-coated glass products with high visible light transmittance as well as the PDP optical filters that employ them.
