    • PURPOSE:To obtain excellent surface hardness and scratching resistance and the excellent antidazzle characteristic by a uniform and fine rugged surface by applying a layer of a UV curing type hard coating agent having a specific viscosity on a mask film layer and peeling the mask parts after curing this agent with UV rays. CONSTITUTION:Prescribed patterns are printed by a silk screen method using ink for the mask on the parts on a transparent plastic base material where an antidazzle treatment is not required to form the mask film layers of the prescribed patterns on the base material. A UV curing type primer consisting of a monofunctional monomer, multifunctional monomer and shrinkage releasable polymer is so applied thereon in such a manner that the entire surface attains 0.2 to 3.0mum, by which the UV curing type primer layer is formed. After the UV curing type hard coating agent having 5000 to 1,000,000cPs viscosity is applied over the entire surface on the primer layer, the coating agent is cured by UV rays to form the UV curing type hard coating layer having 0.1 to 20mum film thickness. The parts overlapping on the mask film layer are then peeled.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain clay for work which is excellent in tackiness, the touch, moldability and viscoelasticity and does not discolor by mixing PVA with boric acid and/or borax in the existence of water and mixing the obtained gellike substance with clay base material for work made of starchy material main body. CONSTITUTION:Gellike substance is prepared by mixing PVA with boric acid and/or borax in the existence of water. As the blending rate, about 1-20 pts.wt. PVA and about 1-60 pts.wt. water are preferably utilized for 1 pts.wt. at least one of boric acid and/or borax. Clay for work is obtained by mixing this previously prepared gellike substance with the clay base material for work in which starchy material (e.g. wheat powder, potato starch) is incorporated as a main raw material. Thereby, clay for work excellent in tackiness and resistance to discoloring is produced because the gellike substance of boric acid for a raw material is previously prepared and blended with the clay base material for work.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method that can efficiently manufacture a glass product in which off-frost processing is performed.SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing a glass product that has a frost part (12) of a cloudiness glass shape formed by contacting an etching solution (l) to a processing section (s) of a glass material (10) includes: a masking process in which a masking agent having corrosion resistance to the etching solution is adhered to a part of the processing section to form a mask part (m); an etching process in which the etching solution is made to contact the processing section after the masking process to form a frost part; a burning down process in which at least the mask part is heated after the etching process to burn down the masking agent being at the mask part. The masking agent is clearly removed without leaving any trace by the burning down process, thereby a work to peel and remove a masking film being conventionally necessary can be omitted, and thereby a glass product performed with so called off-frost processing can be efficiently manufactured.
