    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-rolling water tank device for a ship, avoiding an increase in heeling angle of a hull in a sudden turn of a ship.
      SOLUTION: An anti-rolling water tank 1 includes: a pair of tanks 1a, 1b disposed on both gunwales of a ship; and a connecting water channel 2 connecting the tanks 1a, 1b to each other, and further includes: an air duct 5 connecting the tanks 1a, 1b to each other; and an air damper 6 controlling the movement or constraint of a rocking relaxing liquid W by its opening and closing. A ship speed detecting mens 9 for detecting the ship speed and a steering stand or an automatic pilot device 8 for outputting a rudder angle command signal of the ship are connected to a central processing control device 10, and the control device 10 includes an operation determination means 10b for determining whether or not the air duct 6 is cut off to constrain the movement of the rocking relaxing liquid W according to a ship speed of the ship speed detecting means 9 and the rudder angle command signal of the automatic pilot device 8.
