摘要： A motor operator for switchgear for use in mains power distribution systems comprising a closed cabinet (5) with an operating shaft (53) protruding there from said operating shaft being rotatable at least between two positions and has a coupling part (2). The motor operator (6, 7) comprises a housing mountable on the external surface of the switchgear cabinet. A rotatable connection shaft (51) is connected to an electric motor via a drive mechanism, and has a first coupling part (52) to fit with the coupling part (2) of the switchgear in a non-rotational interlocking manner, and further has a second coupling part (54) extending from the housing to operate the contact of the switch manually and, for which purpose, the motor operator has a release mechanism releasing the connection shaft. The motor and the drive mechanism is designed as an electro-mechanical actuator with a rear mounting (23) for mounting the actuator in the housing of the motor operator and μ. front mounting (29) on the activation element (20) for connection of the activation element to the rotatable connection shaft (51).

摘要： The present invention relates to a gelatinous moisturizing substrate for controllably delivering water, gas micro-nutrients, plant growth additives, preservatives, and surfactants to plant tissue such as the entire vertical root system of a plant. The preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises a mixture of the following by percent weight: 97.6% water, 2.0% sodium carboxymethylcellulose, 0.15% aluminum sulfate, 0.04% sodium benzoate, 0.04% potassium sorbate, 0.237% zinc acetate, 0.00009% kinetin, 0.00004% indole-3-butyric acid, 0.00003% gibberellic acid, and 0.005% sodium sesquicarbonate. The concentrations of these nutrients disclosed in this invention maintain the substrate's viscosity. As a result, the moisturizing agent retains water, zinc, acetic acid, auxins, gibberellins, and cytokinins in the gel and releases the water and nutrients into the soil surface at a controlled rate, enabling cell growth, formation of new leaves, vigorous shoot growth, even maturity, and improved stress tolerance. The addition of citric acid and sodium bicarbonate to the dry ingredients of the present invention adds another method of creating a cross linked gel from a dry form.

The operating shaft is rotatable at least between two positions and has a coupling part. The motor operator 6 comprises a housing 10, which is mountable on the external surface of the switchgear housing, and a rotatable connection shaft connected to an electric motor drive mechanism. It has a first coupling part to fit with the coupling part of the switchgear in a longitudinal axial sliding and non-rotational interlocking manner. Further, it has a second coupling part extending from the housing to operate the switch manually. The operator further comprises a control unit 8 with a connection rack, one or more power supplies, besides from a battery 9, and one or more communication facilities 9, such that the motor operator appears self-contained with all necessary facilities ready to operate when installed.

摘要： A diversionary therapy apparatus (100) provides a tangible intuitive and immersive interaction device for a patient so as to distract the patient from a treatment. It includes a handheld tablet device (110) having motion sensors and a screen (112) for showing digital content relating to a three-dimensional environment. A controller determines movement of the tablet device (110) and displays content on the screen (112) based on this movement so that the patient can interact with the three-dimensional environment displayed on the screen through physical manipulation of the device (110). Various other interactive features are also disclosed, including interchangeable selector elements, e.g. figurines (114), that may be mounted on the device (110) to allow selection of content and action, a camera, biometric sensors, a touchscreen, a domed rear surface to allow the device to rock on a surface and a profiled screen wall (124). Handgrips (122) may be provided skew to the horizontal to encourage immediate rotation of the device (110). Various other applications of the device are discussed, as is motion sensing based on a camera imaging a pattern on a marker element, e.g. on a figurine (114).

摘要： A method and kit are described that are useful in the diagnosis of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis or the evaluation of its progression. According to the method, a purified voltage-sensitive calcium channel complex is contacted with a biological fluid obtained from a person suspected of having, or known to have, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. The voltage-sensitive calcium channel is of a type that ALS sera selectively reacts with. The reaction takes place for a time and under conditions sufficient for the calcium channel complex and anti-calcium channel complex antibodies that may be present in the biological fluid to form an antigen/antibody complex. The presence or absence of the antigen/antibody complex is then determined.
