    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which the transplantation of coral can efficiently be carried out in a short time by a simple method and adverse effects on the transplanted coral and surrounding environment can be minimized with scarcely any rise in pH value by diffusion of an alkaline component.
      SOLUTION: This method is characterized as follows. Underwater inseparable concrete 4 is placed in depressed ground of a sea bottom base G for transplanting the coral or a mold 2 installed on the sea bottom base G. Fragments of the coral 1 or massive or table coral 1, small-sized coral 1 having several cm length, large-sized coral 1 having several m diameter, or the like, are partially inserted into the concrete 4 before hardening the concrete 4. Furthermore, the concrete 4 is then hardened after the passage of a curing period. Thereby, the coral 1 is fixed onto the sea bottom base G.

The apparatus discharges the treated water which is purified by decomposing and removing the organic matters and inorganic nutrient salts.
