    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for surely moving a coral colony present in a barrier lagoon in the form of a rolling stone at a relatively low cost while preventing the damage of the coral and the stress to the coral as far as possible and to provide a method for moving a coral colony occupying a large area, grown in a barrier lagoon or a slope of a coral reef and containing plural kinds of corals.
      SOLUTION: (1) The method for moving a coral colony present in a barrier lagoon in the form of a rolling stone comprises the cutting of the colony together with its adhesion ground 32 with wire saws 33a, 33b and the transfer of the colony to other sea area. (2) The method for moving a coral colony grown in a barrier lagoon or a slope of a coral reef and containing plural kinds of corals comprises the cutting of the colony together with its adhesion ground 32 as it is with wire saws 33a, 33b to a prescribed size and the transfer of the colony to the other sea area.
