摘要： A sputtering system and magnet array for depositing metal and metal-reactive gas coatings onto a substrate. The magnet array is designed for use in a rotating magnetron. The magnet array includes a plurality of magnets disposed on a plate. The plurality of magnets is arranged such that a closed-loop magnetic path is formed. The shape of the magnetic path is a double-lobe structure that includes first and second lobes that are symmetric to one another about an axis in the plane of the plate that intersects the center of rotation of the plate. The magnets are arranged in several rows. A first row of magnets has a double-lobe structure that corresponds to the first and second lobes of the magnetic path. Second and third rows of magnets are arranged in the shape of rings inside the first and second lobes of the magnetic path magnetic path. The lobe structure of the magnetic path can be circular or elliptical in shape. Using this design, a metal or metal-reactive gas coating can be deposited on the surface of the substrate at a high rate.

摘要： A system for distributing electronic information signals throughout a structure, particularly a residential dwelling, which adapts a plurality of electronic information signals into a signal which can be received by one or more information utilizing devices which are located throughout a structure. In accordance with particular aspects of the present invention, an improved structure and method of installing a plurality of communication cables in a wall adjacent to an existing electrical box attached to a building member is provided. An apparatus for adapting a multi-line telephone signal distribution hub for use with a single telephone line, or two telephone lines, is also included which allows the wiring for an internal KSU/PBX telephone system to be installed immediately and a single telephone line readily interfaced with a multi-line telephone signal distribution hub while a KSU/PBX control box and additional telephone lines from the telephone service utility can be readily connected at a later date. In accordance with another aspect of the present invention, a system is described for distributing audio signals from a central location to a plurality of discrete zones contained within a structure, such as a residential dwelling, which allows changes to be readily and conveniently made. Also disclosed is a system for distributing electronic signals within a room equipped for audio and video presentations and having four, five, six, or more, speaker connection locations for use in home theater applications.

Each sensor bar includes a (+) end and a (−) end which correspond to lines on a manual level. Each sensor bar is connected to a controller system and acts as an electronic level. 摘要： The variable speed transmission uses multiple fluid couplings to provide a sturdy, durable variable output ratio transmission by using hydraulic fluid to vary the output. Each fluid coupling has an independent output shaft driven by the respective fluid coupling turbine. Output shafts drive alternate gears (i.e., first and third at a first fluid coupling and second and fourth at a second fluid coupling). This configuration alternates gear shifts between the fluid couplings allowing the next gear up or down to be engaged before disengaging the current gear, for uninterrupted gear changes in both up and down shifting. A fifth gear would be driven by a gear connected to the fluid coupling input shafts. Gears could be engaged with hydraulic clutches or syncromesh gears. This combined with variable slip fluid couplings allows for better torque and control.
