摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a method of forming an outer surface layer which is excellent in corrosion resistance and high temperature oxidation resistant abilities, by using metalloid of silicone and germanium, or metal element such as bismuth for an electrode, so that the a workpiece may be combined with and cooled by the evaporated metalloid. CONSTITUTION:Since a metalloid electrode has a high resistance, several fine electric discharges occur simultaneously over the entire surface of the electrode without discharge at only one position on the electrode. Accordingly, metalloid of silicone and germanium or metal element of bismuth, zirconium, tantalum, etc. is used for the electrode, and electric discharge is carried out in liquid or liquefied gas. Then, the metalloid, etc. having a low heat conductivity, etc. is evaporated while it has an electric charge. Therefore, it is transferred to the outer surface of a workpiece which is therefore subjected to rapid heating and cooling so that an amorphous or fine crystal structure is formed on the outer surface of the workpiece. With this arrangement, an excellent outer layer surface having a high corrosion resistant and high temperature pickle resistant abilities may be obtained.

摘要： PURPOSE:To transmit a desired speed to a driven side over a wide range by integrally installing two unit actuators and a differential mechanism which takes out the sum or the relative difference between the revolution speeds of the both actuators and transmits said value to an output shaft side. CONSTITUTION:A control means 5 for controlling the first and the second unit actuators 1 and 2 revolves the first and the second driving shafts 3 and 4 in the normal and reverse directions, respectively, and freely increase/decrease- adjusts the revolution speed. A differential mechanism 15 is constituted of bevel gears 6, 7, 8 and 9, a differential belt pulley 10 and engaging shafts 11 and 12, and the differential mechanism 15 takes out the sum or the relative difference between the revolution speeds of the driving shafts 3 and 4 on the basis of the directions of revolution of the first and the second driving shafts 3 and 4, and transmits said value onto the driven side. The above-described mechanisms are integrally accommodated into a frame 16 and operate as one actuator.

In this case, an interpole distance between the electrode 10 and the workpiece 11 is increased and discharge is dispersed. Thereby, even when the electrode 10 and the workpiece 11 are both of iron, no short-circuiting occurs and stable machining is carried out and a machining surface layer softened through wire electric discharge can be simply removed.

摘要： PURPOSE:To automatically generate a tool path having the necessary accuracy by repeating such a calculation together with the shift of the position of a control surface that obtains an intersecting line between the offset surface of the locus of a tool center point against a conceptional product working surface and a tool restricting surface as the control surface set when a tool is moved along a certain path. CONSTITUTION:An intersecting point is calculated between a conceptional three- dimensional space curved surface where the path of the tool center is set opposite to a working surface at working i.e., a curve set on a conceptional offset surface F, for example, and a tool restricting surface, i.e, a control surface where the tool position is moved. Then the curve is shifted so that an intersecting line is obtained. This procedure is repeated while the position of the control surface is slightly shifted. Thus a tool path is obtained. In addition, the locus of a tool center point S obtained from said calculation is confirmed on a plane and the tool path is corrected. Thus the interference is avoided between the working curved surface and the tool. As a result, the locus of the position of the point S is obtained with the necessary accuracy through a geometrical convergence calculation. Then the interference is avoided to the working curved surface.
