摘要： A reversible, self-contained cooking appliance. A heating plate is suspended between first and second insulating end stands. The heating plate has first and second cooking surfaces on opposite sides thereof and includes an integral heater. The end stands support the heating plate for cooking in a first orientation. One of the end stands is adapted to store the cooking appliance in a vertical position for storage. During use the end stands position a reflector between the heating plate and a support surface so that the reflector minimizes any heat transfer to the supporting surface. In a preferred form a drain is disposed along one end of the heating plate to allow grease and other cooking materials to drain into the reflector.

摘要： A rotisserie cooking appliance includes a base and attached wall in the form of a vertically bisected cylinder. The base contains a centrally-located spindle for the attachment thereon of a drip pan and a spit and basket assembly. The spit and basket assembly includes a circular wire basket for containing the food item to be cooked, with a spit attached to the center thereof, the spit having an integral handle at the top to facilitate the insertion and removal of the spit and basket assembly from the rotisserie. A electric heating element is provided which is located to the rear of the rotisserie, which emits more thermal radiation near the bottom of the cooking chamber than at the top thereof. A removable aluminum reflective element is configured behind the heating element to further direct thermal radiation towards the spit and basket assembly. A single door configured as a vertically bisected cylinder made of a transparent heat resistant plastic material is provided. When the door is in the closed position, a curved slot in the top thereof secures the spit and basket assembly in place.

摘要： A portable warm air humidifier for delivery to a room a steam air mixture of uniform moisture and at a temperature that does not cause sensation of pain. A steam ejector is used to mix the steam from an evaporation chamber with the air entering the humidifier with the advantage, among others, of eliminating the need for motors and blowers. A difference in the water level between a water supply compartment and the evaporation chamber provides a constant pressure in the evaporation chamber which is necessary to drive generated steam through a steam nozzle communicating with the steam ejector. The dimensions of the steam nozzle are determined in relation with the rate of steam generation in accordance with steam velocity to effectively eliminate or minimize the noise normally associated with the passage of steam through a nozzle. The humidifier may have a filter medium to filter particulates from the air notwithstanding the drop in pressure of the air across the filter medium from the outside to the interior of the humidifier.

The housing includes an evaporation chamber in the shape of an inverted cup which has a steam outlet in its top and contains an electric heating element positioned a short distance above its open end. The evaporation chamber and the heating element are immersed in water contained in the water supply compartment. The neck of an inverted, removable, water container filled with water is placed into the water supply compartment and water fills the water supply compartment until its level reaches the lower rim of the water container's neck. The housing and the water container are displaceable from the base so as to provide access to the water supply compartment and the heating element to facilitate cleaning. The humidifier also contains a control element to prevent damage to the heating element when the heating element is not immersed in water and signal lamps warning an attendant to refill the water container with water.

The humidifier also contains a control element to prevent damage to the heating element and signal lamps warning an attendant to refill the jug with water. The humidifier may also include a removable drawer.
