    • A heat gun with an extendible/retractable safe heatproof sleeve comprising of: a housing composed of two hollow half-housings abutted and connected with each other, a muzzle of the heat gun has on the front end thereof a portion with a reduced caliber that has two lateral sides provided each with an axial recess which has an engaging portion; and a heatproof sleeve being a hollow housing, the housing has on each of two lateral sides thereof a sheet extending rearwardly, the sheet is provided on the inner side thereof with a protrusion, so that when the heatproof sleeve is slipped over the front end of the heat gun, the two sheets of the heatproof sleeve extend into the two axial recesses on the portion with the reduced caliber, the engaging portions can engage the protrusions, the heatproof sleeve thereby can slide on the portion with the reduced caliber on the front end of the heat gun and will not drop.

    • An electric heater includes a receiving chamber, heat sink members, electric heating pipes and a control portion. The receiving chamber and heat sink members are formed from extruded aluminum members. The heat sink members are sequentially arranged at both sides of the receiving chamber. The electric heating pipes are placed in the receiving chamber. The control unit activates an electric power source of the electric heating pipes in order to generate heat. Heat energy from the electric heating pipes is absorbed by extruded aluminum plates that define the receiving chamber. Heat energy is conducted quickly to the heat sink members which exchanges heat by convection with ambient cool air to rapidly raise the temperature of a room.

    • A cooling and isolating structure for an external casing of a hot air blowing gun and particularly the structure of the hot air blowing gun at the front end of its interior has a nozzle coupled to the inner barrel, with heating wires disposed inside the inner barrel. An embedded ring is disposed at one end of the nozzle, and a groove is disposed at a position corresponding to the inner side of the external casing of the hot air blowing gun. The insulating embedded plate can be disposed between the nozzle and the external casing of the hot air blowing gun to define an insulated and cooling isolating space to effectively isolate the heat conduction from the nozzle and to prevent the external casing of the hot air blowing gun from being overheated or partially deformed.

    • In a furnace having a plurality of parallel heat exchanger panels over which circulation air is caused to flow, and which has a tendency for hot spots to occur at particular locations on its outboard heat exchanger panels, a diverter vane is placed on the outer side of each of the outboard heat exchanger panels to divert a portion of the circulation air to the hotspot locations for cooling them to acceptable temperatures. In one form, the diverter vane is integrally formed with, and extends normally inwardly from a side baffle that extends upwardly alongside the outboard heat exchanger panel. The diverter vane is obliquely disposed with respect to the side baffle, with its lower end located near a midpoint of the heat exchanger panel and its upper end located near the hotspot location. When used with a multipass heat exchanger panel, the hotspot location is between the end of the first return bend and the commencement of the second pass, and the diverter vane is thus positioned with its top end near that location. Where a blower shelf baffle is employed, the diverter vane lower end is positioned near that location.

    • A room conditioner provides an essentially uniform temperature within a room upon operation of a motor of a ceiling fan. The motor includes a stator supporting by a ceiling mounted shaft and a rotor supporting a set of fan blades of the ceiling fan for causing airflow upon energization of the motor. A heating element supported by the shaft and upwardly displaced from the ceiling fan heats air flowing therepast and a secondary fan responsive to the rotor via a sleeve about the shaft draws air past the heating element. Heated air flowing from the heating element is mixed with the airflow caused by operation of the set of fan blades to distribute warmed air uniformly throughout the space of the room wherein the room conditioner is located.
