    • A component attaching hole 5 is opened in the tank main body 1 constructed by laminating an inner shell 3 and an outer shell 4 via a fuel permeation preventing layer 2, and the auxiliary component 6 is welded to the external surface of the tank main body 1 in such a manner as to cover the component attaching hole 5. The component attaching hole is formed so as to be tapered in such a manner that the component attaching hole gets wider toward the external surface of the tank main body 1, and a boss portion 9 is formed on the auxiliary component 6 which is tapered so as to fit in the component attaching hole 5, whereby a fuel permeation preventing layer 8 laminated on the internal surface of the auxiliary component 6 is made to extend over the external surface of the boss portion 9. When the tank main body 1 and the auxiliary component 6 are welded together, the fuel permeation preventing layer 8 on the external surface of the boss portion 9 is tightly joined to the fuel permeation preventing layer 2 exposed at the component attaching hole 5.

    • A branch junction box assembly containing a busbar and a flexible printed substrate. The busbar has a contact section extending therefrom and, similarly, the substrate has a contact portion extending therefrom. Connection between the two is made by inserting a connector into a connector holder in a position whereby the connector makes contact with both the contact section and the contact portion, thereby completing the circuit. It is preferable that the contact portion and contact section, as well as the terminals in the connector be parallel to each other and to the insertion direction of the connector into the connector holder. This provides a simple construction, minimizes the number of parts, and enables easy and smooth assembly.

    • A control apparatus controls a vehicular air-conditioning system to control a fuel-combustion heater for producing combustion heat to heat a heating medium in a heating medium circuit which heats air flowing through a duct having air outlets openable into a passenger compartment, through heat exchange between the heating medium and the air with a heat exchanger disposed in the duct. The control apparatus has a shutdown controller for temporarily shutting down the fuel-combustion heater and an extinguishing controller for extinguishing the fuel-combustion heater based on a signal from the shutdown controller. The shutdown controller includes a shutdown signal entering unit for entering a shutdown signal to temporarily shut down the fuel-combustion heater and a shutdown signal canceler for canceling the shutdown signal in response to a canceling signal entered to cancel the shutdown of the fuel-combustion heater within a predetermined period of time after the shutdown signal has been entered. Even if an erroneous attempt is made to turn off the fuel-combustion heater, the fuel-combustion heater can quickly and reliably resume its operation to heat the passenger compartment.
