    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a yellow toner which permits omission of a classification step heretofore necessary for the conventional triturated toners for a full-color copying machine, is provided with good transferability by its nearly spherical shape, satisfies cleanability, has a small grain size and narrow grain size distribution for making a significant contribution to high resolution and high image quality excellent in gradation characteristic, has good dispersibility of coloring matter, is high in tinting strength, makes high image density obtainable, has high saturation and excellent transparency, has excellent light fastness, is not faded in colors, and makes electrostatic chargeability stably obtainable for a long period of time. SOLUTION: The electrostatic charge image developing yellow toner contains at least coloring matter obtained by dissolving or dispersing a toner composition containing a urea bondable denatured polyester-based resin in an organic solvent, by causing the addition polymerization of the dissolved matter or dispersion while emulsifying the same in an aqueous medium, by removing the solvent of the resultant dispersion and cleaning the dispersion.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus with a highly durable fixing device having good bending fatigue resistance and wear resistance, allows fixing at low temperature, gives no abnormal image, and has excellent durability.SOLUTION: (1)The image forming apparatus includes a fixing unit for fixing a toner image onto a recording medium with heat and pressure. The toner that forms the toner image contains at least a polyester resin having crystallinity (crystalline polyester) and a noncrystalline resin, substantially incompatible with each other, in the binder resin. The fixing unit includes a fixing rotatory body and a pressurizing rotatory body, and the fixing rotatory body and/or the pressurizing rotatory body is in a belt form. The fixing rotatory body has a surface layer formed on the outer circumference surface thereof, the surface layer comprising a tetrafluoroethylene-perfluoroalkyl vinyl ether copolymer resin (PFA) having a ratio of oxygen atoms/carbon atoms in a molecular chain of 1/60 or more.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner having excellent release property during low temperature fixing, causing little filming, achieving both of low temperature fixability and heat-resistant storage property, reducing a volatile content during fixing, and achieving both of low temperature fixability and separation property of a sheet from a roller during high-temperature fixing.SOLUTION: The toner is obtained through a step of emulsifying or dispersing a toner material liquid comprising liquid that contains materials constituting the toner, in an aqueous medium containing a surfactant. The toner material liquid contains a binder, colorant, and wax, having a molecular chain composed of only C-H bonds and C-C bonds. The wax shows a mass reduction of 10 mass% or less at 165°C. The proportion of the whole wax in the toner particles measured by a DSC method ranges from 1 mass% to 8 mass%. A ratio Sbet/SF of the BET specific surface area (Sbet) of the toner to an average circularity (SF) of the toner is 1.0 m/g or more and less than 3.6 m/g.
