摘要： A frequency converter may be employed in communication equipment such as a portable telephone. The frequency converter includes a differential pair consisting of first and second transistors, a current bypass circuit consisting of third and fourth transistors, and a distortion compensating circuit consisting of fifth and sixth transistors. The distortion compensating circuit decreases an emitter-to-base voltage of the sixth transistor when an emitter current of the first transistor is increased, while it increases an emitter-to-base voltage of the fifth transistor when an emitter current of the second transistor is decreased, non-linearts components of the emitter-to-base voltages of the first and second transistors caused by variations of RF (radio-frequency) signals inputted to the first and second transistors are called decreasing distortion of an output signal of the frequency converter caused by the difference in operating point between the first and second transistors.

The coupling point B is spaced a quarter wavelength of the microwaves apart from the coupling point A, the coupling point C is spaced the half wavelength of the microwaves apart from the coupling point A, and the coupling point D is spaced the half wavelength of the microwaves apart from the coupling point B.

摘要： A Colpitts oscillator has an integrated circuit. The integrated circuit includes a transistor having an equivalent large size, a bypass capacitor connected between a collector of the transistor and a ground, a first feedback capacitor connected between a base and an emitter of the transistor, a second feedback capacitor connected between the emitter of the transistor and the ground, and an emitter follower connected to the emitter of the transistor. In a package, a stray reactance and a bonding wire are designed so as to agree with an element value and a Q value which can be used as parts of a resonator. A surface elastic wave resonator disposed outside the integrated circuit is connected between the base of the transistor and the ground. The oscillator is voltage controlled by a variable capacitance diode connected in series with the resonator.

摘要： Provided is a power amplification circuit capable of quickly and highly accurately preventing an output power and a current of a power amplifier from fluctuating when an antenna load changes. A power amplifier 11 amplifies a radio frequency signal and obtains an output signal. A regulator 12 amplifies an input voltage by a predetermined gain and supplies an output voltage to the power amplifier 11. A current monitor 13 monitors an input current to the regulator 12 and obtains a monitor current. A first multiplier 14 multiplies the monitor current by the output voltage of the regulator 12 and obtains a monitor power. A memory 16 prestores a predetermined reference current. A second multiplier 15 multiplies the input voltage by the reference current and obtains a reference power. A gain control section 121 in the regulator 12 controls a predetermined gain based on the monitor power and the reference power.
