摘要： PURPOSE: To develop a thermoplastic resin pipe as well as its production method and facilities having a sufficient reliability even in the application to a pipe to be laid underground for sewage or the like by remarkably enhancing 6 flat rigidity of a composite pipe containing a corrugated pipe. CONSTITUTION: A two-layer composite pipe 3 made of corrugated composite parts A and bulging socket composite parts B is molded in a mold by contact bonding an intermediate layer pipe 2 alternately consisting of corrugated parts 23 and socket parts 24 bulging to a required shape to an outer peripheral surface of a straight inner layer pipe. The outer peripheral surface of the two-layer composite pipe is heated to a predetermined temperature. The surface is coated with a half-melted outer layer pipe 4 in a vacuum atmosphere. In this manner, a three-layer composite pipe 5 firmly contact bonded under the managed conditions of heat and pressure difference is molded as an article. In this manner, though an outer diameter difference exists between the corrugated part and the socket part, the uniform and firm contact bonding of the outer layer pipe to the intermediate layer pipe ensures a high-efficiency production of an article having a high flat rigidity, no wrinkle, and a smooth and beautiful appearance.

摘要： PURPOSE: To improve the corrosion resistance of an iron pipe and the like for channel or gas pipeline to be buried. CONSTITUTION: A copolymer water dispersion in which 5-50wt.% of a conjugated diolefin having 4-6 carbon atoms is necessarily copolymerized with 3-10wt.% of at least one of ethylenic unsaturated carboxylic acids is used as a main component by use of a reactive emulsifier having a polymerizing ethylenic unsaturated group to prepare a coating material, and the coating material is applied to the inner and outer surfaces of an iron pipe covered with a Zn primer as a sealer by frame coating. Thus, even when the surface of the iron pipe makes contact with the moisture in the soil, the emulsifier is never eluted from the coating film, and fast projecting function can be kept long. Since the coating material itself is highly corrosion-resistant, and the moisture penetration to a metal layer as substrate can be arrested, corrosion by ionization of the metal is also prevented. Further, properties such as stability, impact resistance, and white rust prevention as coating material are also remarkably more excellent than in a conventional technique.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent degradation of water quality by covering the surface of the rubber of a water-sealing rubber ring for use in the joints of a variety of city water pipes with a flexible resin coating harm less to human, at least over an area where the surface of the rubber could make contact with water passing through a pipe. CONSTITUTION:In a joint where a spigot 2 is fitted into the socket 1 of a cast iron pipe with a bolt and nut 4 tightening a retaining ring 3 and a socket flange together, a rubber ring 5A is interposed between the portion of the spigot 2 pressed by the end of the retaining ring 3 and the retaining ring 3 inside the socket 1, thus sealing water passing through a pipe so that it does not leak outside. In this case, the surface of rubber used in the rubber ring 5A is covered with a flexible coating 6A of a resin harmless to human, at least over an area where the surface could make contact with the water passing through the pipe. The coating 6A is preferably made of an olefine resin such as fluororesins and polyamide resins, so that even if trace amounts of toxic substances are added to the rubber, the coating prevents the toxic substances from dissolving into the water.

An electric wire 3 for heating is laid along this uneven surface 11. When the saddle 1 is to be mounted, the uneven surfaces of the corrugated pipe and saddle 1 are fitted each other, and in this condition, current is fed to the electric wire 3 to melt the plastic material surrounding, and thereby the two members are fusion attached into a single piece. Thus joining is completed.
