摘要： After photographing a surface on which an ABS is formed, and the outer shape of a slider, the ABS and an engraved region formed within the ABS are identified from a photographed image. A reference that becomes a guide for attaching to a suspension is then computed, and a positional relationship between the reference and the outer shape of the slider is stored as association information. Next, the outer shape of the slider is measured, and measured values are compared to the association information and a reference is read out when attaching the slider to the suspension. An adhesive is discharged, from below, onto a suspension attachment surface of the slider based on the reference. The slider may then be attached to the suspension while holding the slider in a state where the ABS is positioned on an upper side of the slider.

摘要： Efficient and reproducible production of a copolymer for lithography, which has stable quality, with little lot-to-lot variations, and is suited for film-forming and coating compositions. Radical polymerization of a monomer, which contains at least one ethylenic double bond, with an initiator, in a solvent, and purification of the reaction mixture by precipitation and filtration, in a hermetically-closable single vessel divided by a filter medium, into a first section provided with fluid feeding means and agitating means, and a second section with fluid drawing means. Feeding the reaction mixture from the fluid feeding means into the first section of the vessel, containing a poor solvent, and contacting the reaction mixture with the poor solvent to precipitate a solid; and filtering the resulting fluid, containing the precipitated solid, through the filter medium, drawing the resultant filtrate through the fluid drawing means, and then separating the precipitated solid.

摘要： This invention aims to shorten cycle time by allowing a robot to be operated with speed capability regardless of the shape of moldings. An extrusion molding apparatus has an extrusion molding machine which delivers an extrusion material which becomes a frame-shaped molding through a nozzle fore end, and a robot which holds a workpiece on which the molding is formed and whose working speed is set so as to make travel speed of workpiece rectilinear portions with respect to the nozzle fore end higher than travel speed of workpiece corner portions with respect to the nozzle fore end. Thus, changes in workpiece travel speed with respect to the nozzle fore end are allowed, and robot working speed is not restricted by the shape of moldings.

摘要： High-purity molybdenum or tungsten powder can be produced by a process comprising (a) decomposing a powder or an oxide powder of molybdenum or tungsten with hydrogen peroxide water; (b) bringing the resulting aqueous solution of molybdenum or tungsten into contact with a cation exchange resin; (c) concentrating the aqueous solution; and (d) reducing a concentrated solid material. By omitting reducing step (d), one can obtain high-purity molybdenum or tungsten oxide powders. Because the Mo and W powders and MoO.sub.3 and WO.sub.3 powders prepared by this invention are of an extremely high purity, they are useful as materials for targets of VLSI elements.
