    • A cooling device for cooling a built-in-spindle type spindle motor of a machine tool, in which the spindle motor includes a motor housing enclosing a spindle, a rotor fixed around the spindle, and a stator secured to the inner circumferential surface of the motor housing to surround the rotor with a clearance being formed between the rotor and the stator, wherein the cooling device comprises: a cooling gas supply source for supplying cooling gas; a motor housing with a cooling gas introduction passage for introducing and guiding the cooling gas supplied from the cooling gas supply source to one side of the rotor and the stator; and a cooling gas injection nozzle removably installed in the motor housing and having one or more nozzle openings oriented to inject the cooling gas to the clearance between the rotor and the stator.

    • Electromagnetic control valve is disclosed. A permanent magnet and a needle are fitted in a cylindrical valve body, and a coil, and first and second yokes are mounted on an outside circumferential surface of the valve body. There are first and second ports in the valve body for making an outside space and an inside space of the valve body in communication. There is an orifice in the valve body for making the first and the second ports in communication. The needle is disposed at a position opposite to a side of the orifice, for moving in an up/down direction when a current is applied to the coil. Direction and amount of movement of the needle are dependent on a direction and an intensity of the current applied to the coil. When the needle moves, a tip of the needle varies an opened area of the orifice linearly, according to which a flow rate of the fluid passed through the orifice is controlled according to a position of the needle.

    • An apparatus for transmitting compressed video data includes a data interfacing circuit, a data connecting circuit, a decompression unit, and a CPU. The data interfacing circuit receives and stores compressed video data, generates a first control signal in response to receipt of the compressed video data, identifies an address bus and a data bus used for transmitting the compressed video data and then generates a hold permission signal in response to receipt of a hold request signal. The data interfacing circuit also provides output of the compressed video data in response to receipt of an address control signal. The decompression unit generates a data request signal to request input of said compressed video data. The decompression unit receives the compressed video data from the data interfacing circuit and decompresses the compressed video data to generate a motion picture in response to receipt of a data permission signal. The data connecting circuit generates the hold request signal in response to receipt of a second control signal and the data request signal, generates the address control signal in response to receipt of said hold permission signal, and generates a transmission state signal indicating that transmission of the compressed video data to the decompression unit is complete. The CPU generates the second control signal in response to receipt of the first control signal, and generates a third control signal to clear the data connecting circuit in response to receipt of the transmission state signal.
