    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the straightening effect and the reducing effect of the residual stress by giving the slight rolling reduction function to a horizontal roller of a roller straightening machine, and straightening a work to be straightened through slight rolling reduction when the work is slightly reduced. SOLUTION: A work 20 to be straightened is straightened by a roller straightening machine 1. Rolls 3, 4 on the inlet side and rolls 10, 11 on the outlet side are provided with a roll pitch changing device so that the slight rolling reduction can be performed by moving an upper roll and a lower roll to approximately same position. Intermediate rolls 5-9 are located in a staggered manner. The rolls 3, 4, 10, 11 can be used in a staggered arrangement in a normal condition. When a work 20 to be straightened with large bend is straightened, the rolls 3, 4, 10, 11 are moved by the roll pitch changing device to set the upper and lower rolls opposite to each other to realize the arrangement of a slight rolling reduction mill. The large bend of the work 20 is straightened by the rolls 3, 4 on the inlet side, and further straightened by the repeated bend by the intermediate rolls 5-9 arranged in a staggered manner, and the whole work is straightened by the rolls 10, 11 on the outlet side.

    • PURPOSE: To attain rolling mill and rolling method with the shape of the crown of a work roll so that preferable crown and shape of a rolling stock to be rolled can be attained in a multiple rolling mill with four stages or over, shifting upper and lower work rolls. CONSTITUTION: This must be a rolling mill equipped with at least backup rolls 4 and 5 and work rolls 2 and 3, whose backup rolls 4 and 5 are equipped with crowns symmetrical to the left and the right, having maximum diameters in the centers of roll barrel lengths, and whose work rolls 2 and 3 are equipped with the following crowns. (a) A maximum roll diameter is positioned in a position deviated from the center of a roll barrel length so that the crowns of upper and lower rolls are in the same shape and become in point symmetry each other to the center of the rolling mill. (b) A smoothly continuous curve is composed by the crown of the roll, and a roll diameter is monotonously decreased toward the left and the right ends of the roll from the position of the maximum roll diameter. (c) And, the curve is equipped with at least one inflection point or over on either one side of the left or the right or on both sides of them in distances from the position of the maximum roll diameter to the ends of the left and the right of the roll.

    • PURPOSE:To uniformize positional accuracies between a blade and sidepiece of a nozzle segment by forming two grooves for housing both sidepieces of the nozzle segment, and installing a positioning part, locating a front edge of the blade, in a projection lying between both these grooves. CONSTITUTION:When a ceramic gas turbine nozzle being made up of arranging a nozzle segment 1, where a blade 2 and two sidepieces 3 holding this blade between are unified as one body, in the circumferential direction is ground, both these sidepieces 3 of the nozzle segment 1 are housed in two grooves 5 formed in a jig 4. A front edge of the blade 2 is positioned by a positioning part 9 installed in a projection 7 lying between these grooves 5 and 5, and a surface of the blade 2 is positioned by the support part 11. A contact surface between these nozzle segments themselves positioned and locked is ground and, what is more, both outer and inner circumferential diametral parts of the nozzle segment 1 are ground.
