    • PURPOSE:To form.realize an economic permanent current mode easily handled technically and economically by insulating a metal having a high resistance to perform a function as a heat source and integrally incorporating it in an oxide superconductor. CONSTITUTION:Powders of Bi2O3, PBO, SrCO3 and CuO are mixed at a molar ratio of 0.9:0.3:2:3. The mixture is heat treated at 800 deg.C for 24 hours, and then pulverized by a ball mill. Then, powder obtained by the pulverization of the mill is molded in a pellet by a press, again heat treated at 800 deg.C for 24 hours, then pulverized by a ball mill, and temporarily baked powder is obtained. This baked powder is filled in a press die for obtaining a molded form having a depth of 1cm, a length of 3cm and a width of 1cm. On the other hand, a high resistance metal obtained by winding an NiCr wire provided with an Al2O3 layer on its outer periphery in a coil state is extended at its end longitudinally substantially in the center to be disposed, and press molded. Then, it is heat treated at 850 deg.C for 100hours to obtain an oxide superconducting permanent current switch 5.

    • PURPOSE:To give an equal formation phase with oxide superconductors in powder and bulky body or the like to an oxide superconducting wire by setting treating temperature in a heat treatment process lower by 5 deg.C to 25 deg.C than the temperature at which an aimed abundance fraction of superconductive phase becomes maximum in a phase diagram of an element series composing the oxide superconductor. CONSTITUTION:A raw material powder containing constitutional elements of an oxide superconductor in an specific ratio is filled into a metallic sheathing tube and heat- treated in an atmosphere within the range of 15% to 30% of oxygen partial pressure. For wire of an oxide superconductor of Bi series or Pb added Bi series, a preferable heat treatment condition is within the range of 835 deg.C to 850 deg.C in temperature. In accordance with a phase diagram, the heat treatment condition to maximize an abundance fraction of a high Tc phase (2223 phase) of the Bi series oxide superconductor is in the temperature range of 850 deg.C to 860 deg.C in the atmosphere, the optimum temperature of the heat treatment for the wire having the metallic sheathing tube, however, is in the range lower by 10 to 15 deg.C than the above temperature range. The heat treatment in the atmosphere of oxygen partial pressure of 15 to 30% is preferable, but it is easily performed in the atmosphere in general because of no need of an atmosphere adjustment.

    • PURPOSE:To maintain an optimum oil level in respective compressors by parallelly connecting a plurality of compressors and incorporating a temperature sensing thermocouple in a pipe connecting between the bottoms of the respective compressors so that when the oil temperature sensing thermocouple detected a temperature change in excess of a predetermined range during the oil level equalizing operation, such operation may be continued. CONSTITUTION:Two compressors 13a, 13b set in an outdoor unit 10 are mutually connected between their lower parts through an oil equalizing pipe 28 which acts as a communicating pipe. A temperature sensing thermocouple 29 is attached to the surface of the oil equalizing pipe 28 to detect the oil temperature in the oil equalizing pipe 28, and the detected signal is sent to a controller 26 which comprises an oil level control device 30. If the oil temperature change goes beyond an allowable range, the oil equalizing operation is continued by the controller 26. The oil level equalizing operation is performed such that the operating frequency of one of the compressors, 13a for instance, is raised and that of the other compressor 13b is reduced, and, after a certain time interval has passed after the start of the oil level equalizing operation, the oil temperature change is measured at the oil equalizing pipe with the oil temperature sensing thermocouple 29.
