A system (130) and method (170) for providing intrabody data security on an active implantable medical device (103, 112) is presented. Data (191) is maintained through an active implantable medical device (103, 112). The data (191) is secured on the active implantable medical device (103, 112) among at least one other active implantable medical device (103, 112) wirelessly interfaced. At least one of access to and use of the data (191) with the other active implantable medical device (103, 112) is limited. Unauthorized changes to the form of the data (191) are prevented.
