The present invention provides a system and method for System and method for measuring an installation angle of each probe of a star-probe device. The system is implemented by a measurement device that includes the star-probe device, a movable support, a level platform and a display device. The method includes steps of: using the movable support to vertically fix the star-probe on the level platform; placing a ball on the level platform; controlling a first probe of the star-probe to measure a first point on the top surface of the ball; controlling a other four probes of the star-probe device to measure other four points on each surface of the ball; and calculating an installation angle of each probes according to coordinates of each probes, so as to determine which probe is rightly installed on the star-probe device.
