The purpose of the present invention is to provide an adhesive agent composition for temporary fixing purposes, which can be detached easily when being brought into contact with hot water. Specifically, the present invention provides: an adhesive agent composition for temporary fixing purposes, which comprises (1) a monomer and/or an oligomer each having a (meth)acryloyl group, (2) a polymerization initiator, (3) a ss-diketone chelate and/or a ss-ketoester, (4) an elastomer component and (5) thermally expandable organic particles, and which can be used suitably for the adhesion of a silicon material, the adhesion of a resin, and the adhesion of a glass; and a method for temporarily fixing a member, which is characterized by adhering and temporarily fixing the member using, for example, the adhesive agent composition for temporary fixing purposes, curing the adhesive agent composition for temporary fixing purposes, processing the temporarily fixed member, and immersing the processed member in water, thereby removing a cured product of the adhesive agent composition for temporary fixing purposes.
