The present invention relates to a gain control circuit, which comprises a detection unit, an operation unit, a reset unit, and a control unit. The detection unit detects an output signal of a front-end circuit to generate a detection signal. The operation unit performs a cumulative operation on the detection signal to produce an operation signal and resets the operation unit according to a reset signal. The reset unit generates the reset signal in a predetermined time interval. The control unit generates a control signal according to the operation signal and a first threshold value to control an output gain of the front-end circuit.
