The present invention provides endoglucanases having amino acid sequences indicated in a third sequence of a sequence list. If using endoglucanases of the present invention, it can replace a conventional chemical method for decomposing cellulose, thereby reducing waste and expensive purification costs. In addition, by representing cellulose decomposing activity, it is utilized in feed industry, paper and detergent industry, and a saccharification process of fibrous biomass, thereby being useful for producing raw materials such as petroleum alternative raw materials, special functional materials, bio-polymers, etc.
