PURPOSE: A transmission and a vehicle having the same are provided to simplify a speed changing process by selectively meshing first and second sun gears with first and second planetary gears. CONSTITUTION: A transmission comprises an internal gear(220), a housing(210), first and second planetary gears, first and second sun gears, a gearshift lever(250), and a gear moving unit. The internal gear is installed in a frame(110). The first and second planetary gears are rotatably installed inside the housing and are meshed with the internal gear at first and second positions. The first and second sun gears are rotated with a wheel hub and are selectively meshed with the first and second planetary gears at the first and second positions. The gearshift lever is rotatably installed in the wheel hub. The gear moving unit moves the first and second sun gears to the first position or the second position depending on the rotation of the gearshift lever.
