PURPOSE: A rod connector of an external fixing device is provided to facilitate the installation of a connection rod by increasing a fixing force thereof, and to prevent the shaking of the external fixing device. CONSTITUTION: The rod connector of an external fixing device, which has a body(12) formed with an insertion bore(22) into which a connection rod is fitted, comprises a support member(14) having a curved surface for tightly contacting with the outer periphery surface of the connection rod seated in the insertion bore to support the connection rod, and a locking member(16) compressing the support member to fix the connection rod. The one side of the insertion bore is opened across a diameter of the connection rod.
