摘要：
PURPOSE:To secure a stroke in the vertical direction and to improve the opera bility and the working efficiency by fitting a lifting arm at the tip of a two link type balance arm and a brick holding tool at the fitted tip. CONSTITUTION:A brick laying machine 2 is inserted from the upper part of a converter 1. A cylindrical frame 21 is arranged at the lower end part of the brick laying machine 2 and at this lower end, the balance arm 3 is fitted. The balance arm 3 has an arm 3b driven by a driving device 3a and an arm 3f connected through link mechanism 3c, rod 3d and swing mechanism 3e at the tip. The arm 3f slidably holds the lifting arm 4 in the vertical direction with a holding device 3g. By driving the balance arm 3, the brick is sucked with the holding tool and the bricks 5a, 5b for furnace bottom are laid in order.
