摘要：
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag folding housing structure for quickly inflating the front face part receiving an occupant in an air bag from the inflation initial step and for symmetrically inflating the air bag with ease in an air bag device for a front passenger seat. SOLUTION: An inflator 14 is arranged while deflected so as to be brought close to a front wall 20 in a case 12, and a storage space 32 for housing the air bag 16 is secured between the inflator 14 and a rear wall of the case 12. The air bag 16 is extended to the front and back sides from the opening part in the case 12, and the extended parts are folded up respectively. The front and back folded parts 38, 40 are stored in the upper and lower parts of the storage space 32 so that the front folded part 38 is set below.
