To provide a liquid container capable of preventing shrinkage caused by a rotation-stopping protrusion from being exposed to the external surface of the liquid container.SOLUTION: A plug of a liquid container comprises a plug body 31, and a disk-shaped plug cover covering the upper part of the plug body 31. The plug cover is a resin molding. The plug body has a protrusion 42, and the plug cover has a recess. The protrusion 42 is engaged with the recess so as to prevent rotation of the plug cover relative to the plug body 31. Thus, the protrusion 42 for rotation stopping is provided not in the plug cover but in the plug body 31.
