PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide instrumentation and a method for more accurately, easily, and efficiently preparing an artificial intervertebral disk, features of an intervertebral spacer device, and intervertebral lumens to implanting instruments for fixing or non-fixing. SOLUTION: The instrumentation for implanting the artificial intervertebral disk includes: static trials 100 and a dynamic trial for determining the appropriate size of the artificial disk to be implanted; static trial holders for manipulating the static trials 100; inserter/impactors for inserting and removing the static trials 100 and for inserting the artificial disks; repositioners/extractors for repositioning and extracting the static trials 100 or the artificial intervertebral disks; and a leveler for setting the proper position of the artificial intervertebral disk.
