PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor test apparatus and its method capable of performing a test on a table equal to those performed installing a motor being a test object on an actual vehicle. SOLUTION: The motor test apparatus performs a test for the object motor (31) for driving a vehicle, and is equipped with a first control means (32), a simulator portion (1), and a second control means (21). The first means (32) has an input of a driving instruction to the object motor (31), and drives the object motor (31) according to the driving instruction. The simulator portion (1) has an input of a torque to be given to a load motor (22) from the object motor (31) driven by the first means (32), and outputs a speed instruction to the load motor (22) on the basis of the torque.
