摘要： The present invention is directed to novel fluorinated dye stabilizers having both high quenching efficiency and solubility in halogenated solvents. These dye stabilizers have shown a significantly effect on improving the dye fastness in hostile photooxidation conditions. Formula (I), wherein M is a metal ion, n is 2 or 3; formulae (II) and (III), wherein M' is absent or a metal ion; formulae (IV), (V), (VI) and (VII), wherein M is a metal ion; n is 2 or 3; at least one of R and R is Rf-A-; A in Rf-A- is absent, oxygen or an alkylene chain; and Rf is a fluorinated alkyl or aryl or a low/medium molecular weight fluorinated polymeric or oligomeric moiety.

摘要： A silver halide color photosensitive material exhibiting an excellent granularity even though it has a high photosensitivity and exhibiting favorable photography performance hardly changing even if a silver halide emulsion coating solution is left before coating and excellent performance stability after long-term storage. The material comprises a support and further comprises, over one side of the support, at least one red-photosensitive layer, at least one green-photosensitive layer, at least one blue-photosensitive layer, and at least one non-photosensitive layer. The material is characterized in that at least one photosensitive layer of the red-, green-, and blue-photosensitive layers contains a compound expressed by general formula (1) shown below and a compound expressed by general formula (2) shown below, and in that the compound expressed by general formula (1) is added to a coating liquid for the photosensitive layer before the compound expressed by general formula (2) is added while the coating liquid is prepared.

摘要： A light sensitive silver halide color photographic element having a common chromogenic coupler and a distinct developer associated with each color forming layer unit is disclosed. In a first embodiment, the light sensitive silver halide color photographic element has a red light sensitive silver halide layer unit and a first blocked coupling developer, a green light sensitive silver halide layer unit and a second blocked coupling developer and a blue light sensitive silver halide layer unit having a third blocked coupling developer and wherein each layer unit has the same chromogenic coupler. In a second embodiment, the light sensitive silver halide color photographic element has a red light sensitive silver halide layer unit and a first blocked coupling developer, a green light sensitive silver halide layer unit and a second blocked coupling developer, and a blue light sensitive silver halide layer unit having a third blocked coupling developer. By means of the present invention, light sensitive color photothermographic elements can form yellow, magenta and cyan dye records of consistent density forming ability and conistent stability in all three color records. The present invention also relates to a novel blocked phenylenediamine developer useful in the imaging elements according to the present invention.

摘要： The invention provides a colour photographic element comprising at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer or a non silver-containing light-insensitive layer, in which at least one of these layers contains a colourless heterocyclic compound having either one or two hetero atoms in the ring or ring system, being other than an imidazole compound, that undergoes less than 10% chemical or redox reaction directly with oxidized developer and which has a partition coefficient to enable the photographic speed of the element to be increased by at least 0.03 stop without increasing granularity, compared to the same element without the compound. The heterocyclic compounds increase speed without a concomitant increase in size of the light-sensitive silver halide grains.
