The assembly comprises a feeder for vertically feeding one of a plurality of the cardboard sheets from a storage position into a printing/cutting assembly, the printing/cutting assembly comprising a printing station comprising at least one printer head and a vertical conveyor for conveying a printing surface of the cardboard sheet proximate to and past the at least one printer head, wherein the printing surface is printed by the at least one printer head during the conveying, and a cutting station. Each of the printer heads and each of the cutting blades is vertically moveable respectively into a selected printing position and a selected cutting position under control of a controller thereby accommodating a plurality of different cardboard sheets of different sizes.

Said invention provides a reliable solution for a mentioned problem in such a way that no contact is possible between raw cardboard material and a product in the area of a pouring aperture even after a first package opening. 摘要： A machine for punching blanks (10) of corrugated cardboard out of a web or plates of corrugated cardboard and for forming folding lines (5) in said blanks. The machine has two cylinders (2, 3) rotating towards each other and of which at least one cylinder is provided on the outer surface with a curved wooden plate (6). The punching tools and the folding line tools (8, 9) are mounted on said wooden plate by being pressed into slits in said wooden plate(6). The cylinders (2, 3) are made of metal, preferably steel. The wooden plate (6) is secured to the cylinder (2, 3) by being screwed (15) thereon. The wooden plate is centred on the cylinder by means of two adjustable rings (4) on the cylinder. Each ring (4) is provided with an axially directed guide projection (4a, 4b) adapted to interact with an end notch (6a, 6b) in the wooden plate. In this way, it is rendered possible in a very simple way to centre the wooden plate and consequently the punching tool in relation to the vertical centre plane of the cylinder.

摘要： An apparatus and method for distributing wear over a plurality of blades on a rotating roll (12). Retractable cutoff or perforation blades (18) can be actuated to be extended or retracted to selectively cut or perforate a web. To hold the web during web cutting or perforating operations, the roll is provided with vacuum apertures (16) to which is supplied vacuum via vacuum lines (16a), vacuum valves, and a vacuum source, creating suction through the vacuum apertures. The valves preferably have disks (30, 32, 34), each with a pattern of apertures (36, 37, 38) therethrough. When the disks are rotated to selected positions with respect to one another and to the roll, certain vacuum lines are opened to vacuum while others are closed. Vacuum can thus be selectively applied to only those vacuum apertures which are necessary to hold the web in place during cutting or perforating operations.
