    • The present invention concerns a method and facility which continuously removes scale from a hot rolled carbon steel sheet using a physical method. The objective of the present invention is to provide the method and facility which is capable of sufficiently removing scale from the hot rolled carbon steel sheet and securing excellent surficial roughness of the hot rolled carbon steel sheet as well. The present invention is a method for continuously removing scale from the hot rolled carbon steel sheet which comprises: a cracking step for cracking the scale on the hot rolled carbon steel sheet, a short-blasting step for removing the scale by short-blasting the cracked scale, a steel sheet deformation step for weakening the bond between the scale remaining after short-blasting and the hot rolled steel sheet and deforming the hot rolled steel sheet in order to form surficial roughness therein, and a polishing step for polishing the deformed hot rolled steel sheet. According to the present invention, the method and facility are capable of resolving the problem in the conventional pickling process and regulating the surficial roughness and improving surficial quality according to processing purpose of a user. Furthermore, defective products caused by production line delays can be reduced.
