摘要： Embodiments of the present disclosure utilizes the natural properties of RFI noise on a wireline link. Since differential RFI noise in the system has some correlation with the common mode noise on the cable, a replica of RFI noise can be regenerated by an adaptive filter based on information about the common mode noise. The replica RFI is subtracted from the equalizer output prior to the data decision circuitry or slicer. In this method, the system does not require expensive cable, nor does the equalizer suffer additional loss due to an RFI notch filter. Since RFI can be detected and mitigated, this information can also be coupled to safety systems to increase functional safety under high EMI conditions.

摘要： A tones processing system including an interference tone determination module (ITDM), an interference tone tracker module (ITTM)and an interference tone removal module (ITRM) is provided. The ITDM sequentially searches for one or more continuous wave interference (CWI) tones in N samples of intermediate frequency (IF) data within a programmable signal frequency band. The ITTM tracks the detected CWI tones. The ITRM removes the tracked CWI tones from the N samples of IF data using one or more interference tone removal units (ITRUs). Each of the ITRUs includes a second signal generator, a second mixer, a tone filter for suppressing the tracked CWI tones, and a quantizer for reducing the number of processing bits in a tone suppressed output signal. The ITRM performs frequency shift compensation and phase rotation compensation with reduced logic area and power consumption in the global navigation satellite system receiver.

摘要： A cellular telephone includes cellular telephone circuitry and an FM receiver. An FM signal being received is downconverted by a mixer. The downconverted signal is processed to generate an FM signal that is supplied to a digital IF filter. If a blocker emitted by the cellular telephone circuitry would interfere with receiving of the FM signal due to interaction of an LO harmonic with the blocker if a conventional LO frequency were used, then a different LO frequency is used. Subsequent processing of the downconverted FM signal (for example, by a digital complex conjugate selector and an IF rotator) results in the signal supplied to the digital IF filter having the same center frequency as the digital IF filter despite the use of the different LO frequency. In some embodiments, the LO is shifted by different amounts depending on cellular telephone mode and on the FM signal.
