    • The present invention refers to HV apparatus (1) or (31), in particular a HV dry current transformer (1), insulated with an insulating gel (22), or a voltage transformer (31), insulated with an insulating gel (48). The dry HV current transformer (1) comprises at least two electrically conductive elements i.e. a head transformer cover (2), a head housing base (3), a core casing (4) and a primary conductor (5). In the dry HV current transformer (1) at least one of the electrically conductive elements (2, 3, 4, 5) has a coating (2a, 3a, 4a, 5a) made of solid insulating material separating the surface of the conductive elements from the insulating gel (22) and adapted for limiting the electron emission from the conductive elements (2, 3, 4, 5) into the insulating gel (22). The voltage transformer (31) comprises a bottom external housing (32), a bottom support flange (39a), a core (33). In the voltage transformer (31) at least one of the electrically conductive elements (32, 33, 39a) has a coating (32a, 33a, 39c) made of solid insulating material separating the surface of the conductive elements from the insulating gel (48) and adapted for limiting the electron emission from the conductive elements (32, 33, 39a) into the insulating gel (48).
