摘要： A nuclear reactor element has a securing plate (5) with a longitudinal aperture (10) transfixed by a securing rod (8a, 8b), a securing lug (11a, 11b) of which lies on the outside of the securing plate (5). The securing lug (11a, 11b) is radially guided on a locking plate (9) on the outside of the securing plate, on which a covering sleeve (16a, 16b), coaxial to the securing rod (8a, 8b) and located on the end of the securing rod (8a, 8b), is guided. This covering sleeve (16a, 16b) passes with clearance through a supporting plate (15) arranged above the locking plate (9) and a first pressure spring (17a, 17b) is supported on the covering sleeve (16a, 16b) and the supporting plate (15). A second pressure spring (23) is supported on the supporting plate (15) and the locking plate (9). Both pressure springs (17a, 17b and 23) are prestressed by a tension rod (14) which is fixed to the securing plate (5) and engages with and passes with clearance through the supporting plate (15).

摘要： The fuel rods are laterally supported at the top and/or bottom in the meshes of a spacer by supporting elements (40, 41) that hold the fuel rods in a common horizontal plane (A-A). The end of a warped fuel rod can thus exert no overturning moment on the spacer capable of warping the guiding pipes secured to the spacer. In addition, fretting is avoided, since the warped fuel rod can rotate in said plane in the event of vibrations without rubbing against other supporting elements.

摘要： An elongate fuel element has two end parts and at least one rod holder (1), a structural part (H, 25) which establishes the longitudinal distance between the two end parts, and a bundle of fuel rods (37) at least some of which have an end cap (2). The end cap has a stop surface (7) facing the rod holder (1) and a free end adjoining the stop surface (7) through which a bore (10) in the rod holder (1) passes. When the fuel element is assembled, the end cap can be pushed out of the bore (10). The fuel element has a retaining element (spring ring 3) which moves sideways with respect to the end cap (2) and which can be actuated on the face of the rod holder (1) opposite to the bundle of fuel rods (37). During operation, the retaining element retains a stop body (13) on the face of the rod holder (1) so that the axial distance through which the rod holder (1) can move is limited to the end cap (2). For assembly purposes, however, the retaining element can be released.
