摘要： A portable manual air horn comprises a horn body and a housing (6), wherein, the horn body comprises a chamber for generating sound (2) and a trumpet (4). A blowhole (3) of the said chamber for generating sound (2) is connected with a corner joint (5), and the corner joint (5) further is connected with the bottom of the housing (6). Apressboard (9) is configured at the opening of the housing (6), through which a piston shaft (10) passes. One end of the piston shaft (10) is joined with a piston (8) in the housing, while the other end of the piston shaft (10) is joined with a hand lever (11) outside the housing. A spring (7) is connected between the piston (8) and housin (6).

The device may include an orientation sensor configured to provide a signal representative of a relative orientation of the air sensor. The device may have signal processor configured to combine signals from the two sensors to provide an event message that may be used to interface with a software package such as a music synthesizer package, or a software package for setting up a music synthesizer package. The device may also have a position sensor configured to provide a signal representative of a position of the air sensor relative to a fiducial that may be a plane of a surface of a component of the device.

摘要： A signalling device (10) adapted to make a percussive sound, for example, under water. The signalling device (10) may be attached to a pressurised fluid source, such as a diver's compressed air supply, the device (10) including: a housing (12) having a passageway (22), at least in part, for communication with the fluid source; a valve member (34) located in the passageway (22) and movable between a closed position in which it substantially blocks the passageway (22), and an open position in which fluid may flow through the passageway (22); biasing means (42), such as a spring, biasing the valve member (34) towards the closed position, wherein the valve member (34) reciprocates between the open and closed positions when a pressure difference above a set value exists on either side of the valve member (34) to produce a percussive sound.
