摘要： This invention is intended to provide a rotary kiln for heating indirectly raw material such as ore, coke, etc., while shielding the material from an oxidizing combustion flame. This kiln has a structure wherein a fuel combustion chamber and a reaction chamber of the raw material are partitioned by a heat-resistant ceramic shield plate. The fuel is burnt in the combustion chamber and the combustion gas does not enter the reaction chamber. The raw material is heated indirectly inside the reaction chamber through the ceramic shield plate. When the apparatus of this invention is used, the raw material can be heated indirectly to 1400°C or higher while shielding the raw material from the combustion flame by use of an inexpensive fuel and the apparatus of the invention is particularly effective for reduction treatment of ores.

摘要： The furnace comprises an indirectly heated rotary drum (1), a heating muffle, at least one driving ring (5) and at least one rolling ring (4). In order to provide for a continuous heat transfer throughout the length of the drum, particularly in the driving and bearing areas, the heating muffle (2) is arranged on the drum preferably so that it may rotate with the drum and it is not interrupted in the driving areas and in the bearing areas. The furnace is appropriate for thermal processes, particularly making use of shielding gas or vacuum and specially as a rotary drum reactor for chemical processes, for example calcination, drying or cooling.

摘要： A rotating tube heat treatment installation, for example a rotating tubular kiln for the thermal separation of MgSO3, or a slag cooler for the separation of salts and aluminium comprises, as the main replacable component, a rotating tube (1) which is surrounded by a tubular jacket (2) and separated therefrom by a gap. The tubular jacket (2) is linked to the rotating tube (1) by means of a drive engagement system, and has drive (8) and possible bearing races and bandings (9) mounted externally. The connections (3, 4) for the heat exchange fluid are fitted at its ends, and thermal insulation, in particular light insulation, (7) is fitted internally. In this way the rotating tube, which is exposed to corrosion and thermal stresses, is simplified structurally and can be easily rplaced.
