    • In a method for determining the cylinder filling level of a gas bottle (2) which is filled with a quantity of gas with a preset gas pressure, a change in a temperature of the withdrawal quantity of the gas in the gas extraction line (3) during a withdrawal operation is detected by a temperature sensor (7) in or at a gas extraction line (3). On the basis of the determined temperature change, the withdrawal quantity of gas that is withdrawn from the gas bottle (2) during the withdrawal operation is determined. A residual quantity of the gas that remains in the gas bottle (2) after the withdrawal operation is determined as the difference between the initial quantity of gas in the gas bottle (2) before the withdrawal operation, and the determined withdrawal quantity of gas that is withdrawn during the withdrawal operation. A device (1) for determining a filling level of a gas within a gas bottle (2), which is connected via a valve device (5) to a gas extraction line (3), comprises a temperature sensor (7) that is arranged in or at the gas extraction line (3). With the temperature sensor (7) a change in a temperature in the gas extraction line (3) can be detected during a withdrawal operation of a withdrawal quantity of gas from the gas bottle (2).

    • An LPG reclaim system for withdrawing and reclaiming liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) from an unspent LPG cylinder. The reclaim system has a reclaim station for reclaiming unspent LPG from LPG bottle containers, a compressor for applying a vacuum on the reclaim station and pressurizing LPG vapor from the reclaimed LPG fluid, and a receiving tanlc for receiving a stream of pressurized liquid LPG. The reclaim system has a pair of shell-and-tube heat exchangers include cold-side tubes and a hot side shell. The reclaimed LPG fluid is passed through the cold-side tubes, while the pressurizing LPG vapor is passed through the hot-side shell of the heat exchanger. The heat applied to the cold-side reclaimed LPG fluid promotes evaporation of the LPG fluid to LPG vapor for pressurizing, and the cooling applied to the hot-side pressurized LPG vapor promotes condensation of the LPG vapor to LPG liquid for the refill containers.
