    • The invention relates to an oil pump of an automatic motor vehicle transmission, which oil pump is arranged, in an off-axis design, axially parallel to a central input shaft of the transmission, and the primary rotor of which oil pump is drive-connected by means of a pump drive input stage, with a pump drive input wheel (1) and a pump drive output wheel, to the driveshaft of the drive engine, wherein the pump drive input wheel (1) is arranged coaxially with respect to the input shaft of the transmission, is connected in a positively locking fashion to the driveshaft of the drive engine, and is rotatably mounted by means of a plain bearing (3) on a bearing collar (4) of a bearing shield which is fixed to a housing. To increase the operational reliability of the oil pump, the plain bearing (3) of the pump drive input wheel (1) is provided with a pressurized oil supply (9) which has a connecting line (10), said connecting line (10) being connected to a pressure line and being arranged between a starting element and the bearing shield (5), and also a connecting line (11) which is connected to said connecting line (10) and which runs within the bearing collar (4) and leads into the bearing gap (12) of the plain bearing (3).

    • An apparatus comprising a fluid fitting such as a grease nipple, which is attachable to a device that requires lubrication, and a complementary coupler is provided. The fitting includes an insertable section for mating with a complementary receiving portion on the coupler. The fitting includes one or more first entry ports through a side of the insertable section of the fitting, and an exit distal to the insertable section. The feed channel exits of the coupler, mate with the entry ports of the fitting when the insertable section of the fitting is in a delivery position, so that a fluid can be transferred under pressure from a fluid reservoir via the coupler, into the fitting.

    • A lubrication/bleeder fitting (10) is provided including a cap (14), a body (12) having a first end (15) coupled to the cap, a second end (17) opposite the first end, and an axially extending cavity (40) extending between the first and second ends. The fitting also includes a poppet seat (50) in the axially extending cavity and a poppet (60) disposed in the axially extending cavity and having a nose portion to seat against the poppet seat.
