    • A wind tower harvests wind energy to produce electricity using four major components: (a) a tower, (b) a windcatcher at the top of the tower, (c) one or more diffusers, and (d) one or more wind generators. An inlet with four quadrant peaks, mounted at the top of the wind tower, is shaped to capture an increased volume of air flow and divert this air flow down into the channel or well of the wind tower, thus increasing output of the generator. A shaped diffuser directs the downward air flow in the well onto blades on one side of a drum turbine's axis of rotation, thus rotating the turbine. Rotation of the turbine rotates a generator attached to the turbine to generate power.

    • The invention relates to a ducted wind turbine having a turbine rotor assembly which extracts kinetic energy from air flowing there past. The rotor assembly includes a plurality of rotor blades having rotor tips at their outermost ends which define a rotor tip sweep circumference. A duct assembly at least partially surrounds said rotor tip sweep circumference and a base platform supports the ducted wind turbine. The duct assembly is mounted on the base platform by way of a weathervane bearing arrangement such that the duct assembly may weathervane around the turbine rotor assembly in response to changes in wind direction. A semi-submersible support platform, wave energy capture apparatus, torsional bearing mechanism and a latticework wind turbine tower associated with the ducted wind turbine are also provided.

    • Energy harvesting system, for harvesting energy from renewable resources, including an array of wind turbines disposed along a towering construction, and plurality of laterally outlying ledges branching outwardly in vertically spaced-apart respective levels, alternately lined-up along the towering construction between the wind turbines. Each of ledges includes an upper ledge surface and/or a lower ledge surface, slanted at a slope for deflecting ingoing wind and/or diffusing outgoing wind toward and away from the adjacent wind turbine, respectively. A photovoltaic (PV) solar panel layout is disposed on upper ledge surface, and includes at least one PV solar panel for absorbing and converting solar energy into electricity. The system may include one or more energy storage modules, usually operational for being lifted along towering construction. The towering construction may include wind and solar sensors and may be rotatable, so as to adjust horizontal orientation of towering construction for optimal energy harvesting.
